Activated Charcoal Powder

Activated charcoal powder is a fine, black, odourless powder made from the carbon rich material of coconut shells. The shells are heated to increase their porosity, making it a highly absorbent ingredient which traps toxins, impurities and chemicals. This means that the powder is a really effective ingredient in body care recipes such as soaps and face masks, as well as an additive in dental formulas.

Suggested uses –

• Add to face masks for deep cleansing and acne control.
• Dip a toothbrush in the powder and brush gently to remove stains.
• Mix with sugar and coconut oil for an exfoliating body scrub.
• Add to shampoo to remove product buildup and control oil.
• Mix with aloe vera gel for a detoxifying scalp treatment.
• Add 1/2 a cup to your bath water for a full body cleanse (shower off afterwards).
